Terms of Service

GetQuickHelp ("we", "us", "our") operates a free local classifieds platform at getquickhelp.com. The service allows users to post and browse local classified advertisements without creating an account.

By accessing or using GetQuickHelp, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

You must be at least 13 years old to use GetQuickHelp. If you are under 18, you must have the permission of a parent or guardian to post an ad. By posting, you confirm you meet this requirement.

GetQuickHelp is intended for personal, non-commercial use or for sole traders and small businesses offering genuine local services. Large-scale commercial or automated posting is not permitted.

GetQuickHelp does not require a user account. When you create a post, we send a unique management link to your email address. This link allows you to edit, renew or delete your post.

You are solely responsible for keeping your management link secure. Anyone with your management link can modify or delete your post. We cannot recover a lost management link — if you lose it, contact us and we will verify your identity via the email address used.

You must not share your management link with anyone you do not trust to have full control over your post.

GetQuickHelp is designed for genuine local connections — offering help, seeking help, buying and selling locally, and community notices. Posts should be honest, specific, and relevant to a local audience.

The following are permitted:

• Offering local services (cleaning, gardening, tutoring, dog walking, handyman work, etc.)
• Seeking local services or help
• Selling second-hand personal items
• Offering items for free
• Community notices (events, lost pets, lift sharing, etc.)
• Room and accommodation notices (seeking or offering)
• Local job opportunities (informal, part-time, or freelance)

The following are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in immediate removal and may be reported to relevant authorities.

We reserve the right to remove any post at any time, without notice, for any violation of these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy. We are not required to provide a reason for removal.

Posts are subject to community reporting. Posts that receive multiple valid reports are automatically flagged for review. Our moderation team reviews flagged posts and makes final decisions on removal.

Repeated violations from the same email address or IP address may result in that address being blocked from posting.

If you believe your post was removed in error, contact hello@getquickhelp.com with your post details.

Posts automatically expire 30 days after they are posted. You will receive an email reminder 3 days before expiry. You can renew your post using your management link, which will extend it for a further 30 days.

Expired posts are permanently deleted 30 days after expiry. We do not store expired post content. You are responsible for saving any information from your post before it expires.

We may adjust expiry periods for platform management reasons. We will communicate any significant changes to users where possible.

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting on GetQuickHelp, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, store and distribute your post content for the purpose of operating the service.

This licence ends when your post is deleted or expires. We do not claim any ownership of your content.

You warrant that your post content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party.

GetQuickHelp facilitates connections between local people but is not a party to any transaction, agreement, or meeting that results from a post. We do not verify the identity of users, inspect items for sale, or guarantee the quality of any service offered.

You are solely responsible for your own safety when meeting other users. We strongly recommend:

• Meeting in public places for first-time exchanges
• Telling someone where you are going and who you are meeting
• Not sharing your home address until you have verified the other person's legitimacy
• Using cash or bank transfer for payments — never gift cards, crypto, or wire transfers to strangers

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• GetQuickHelp is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied
• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful content
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to financial loss from fraudulent ads, harm from meetings with other users, or loss of post data
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed £100

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

The GetQuickHelp name, logo, design, and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our platform without prior written permission.

If you believe any content on our platform infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact hello@getquickhelp.com with details of the alleged infringement.

GetQuickHelp may contain links to third-party websites (for example, in blog articles or post content). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party site. Links do not constitute endorsement.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our services, or our policies. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of GetQuickHelp after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users — for example, by displaying a notice on the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform for any user who violates these terms, at our sole discretion and without notice. We may also discontinue the service at any time.
