How I Found Work Through Get Quick Help - My Story

I wanted to tell you about my experience with Get Quick Help, and share the story of how it helped me.

For quite a long time, I'd been having problems. I'd go on all these job websites – Indeed, company sites, all of them – and I'd post applications for jobs. It was causing me a lot of trouble. I made a CV and uploaded it to every job website I could find, but the problem was that I always got phone calls from agencies. Their questions were so odd that I couldn't understand what they were asking or what answer they wanted from me. They'd ask things, but their whole system just didn't suit me. What I wanted was direct contact at ground level – with ordinary people, you know? That's when things actually work out. It's the same as going to a shop and talking directly to the shopkeeper.

Applying online wasn't particularly difficult, but something was missing. You'd get calls from agencies, they'd ask you loads and loads of questions, and I just felt like something wasn't right. I tried for several years but couldn't get a job. Then I thought maybe there was something wrong with my skills, so I learnt more – design, coding, all sorts. I applied again after that, but still no proper contact came through. I tried on various forums as well, going back and forth, but I couldn't get a job. Quite a lot of time passed.

Then I came across this website called Get Quick Help. When I looked at it, there was one thing I really liked about it – there are no pictures on there. Because with pictures, you know, nowadays they can even be made with AI. Looking at pictures doesn't give you the right impression. You can't really tell if there's something genuine going on there. I didn't want to look at pictures – I wanted to make contact with people. Pictures are fine for marketing purposes, showing "I need this, I need that," but what I liked about this website was that without pictures, people can't use AI to create fake images and fool you. If someone wanted to scam you, they could easily create fake photos nowadays with AI, but if there are no pictures, that can't happen.

After seeing this, I looked at how the system works. If someone posts on there, you've got two options – either you're offering something, or you need something. Whether it's a job you're looking for or a specific service, you can post for both. The sign-up process is really easy. It's with Google and social media – well, actually those connections aren't set up yet, but you do have to sign up manually and then log in each time. But it's a very easy process.

When I posted on this website, I got responses from four or five people. These responses are public – anyone can see them. I replied to them, and from there, I got a job from one person. I was amazed that this was a website without any pictures, no images at all – just a simple website, but a really good one. At that time, I'd been let go from my previous job, so I thought I'd tell you about this website called Get Quick Help.

This website is brilliant because without pictures, there are far fewer scammers. The beauty of it is that fraudsters can't use pictures to fool you. In my opinion, the first thing should be conversation and communication. After that, when you've built trust with the person, then you can share pictures and other things via email. You can share emails, you can verify everything through email. First, I think what people say – that you can tell just by looking – I don't think that's right. When you communicate in writing, I think it has much more impact.
